The I in LLM stands for intelligence
Algorithms do not have intelligence, they can’t think, or lie, or hallucinate…. they process data and return an output. Anthropomorphizing technology produces, especially for those who don’t fully understand how any of this works, wildly unrealistic expectations and eventually produces severe disappointment when those expectations don’t match reality.
